Tamarac, The Center for Health and Well-Being
Gerber Memorial Health Services

Two Worlds One, a symbol of balance and health. At Tamarac we believe the essential duality of nature (old and young, Spring and Fall, East and West) holds the key to better understanding of how our inner health determines our outer well-being. Likewise, a healthy body provides the platform to balance our emotions and spirituality. Just as the inner rings of the Tamarack Tree tell its outer story, so too will the Tamarac Experience help you merge your inner and outer worlds into one, complete whole.

passportCITIZENSHIP AT TAMARAC
At Tamarac, Citizenship is a special designation for those who join our world on a journey toward a healthy life, one that engages the mind, body and spirit. Tamarac Citizens enjoy use of the facilities, special discounts for certain services and events, use of locker rooms and amenities, and the care and support of personal Guides.

LEED Certification. Tamarac, The Center for Health and Well-Being is among some of the first buildings in Michigan to attain LEED Certification. LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. The process of attaining certification includes rigorous evaluation by the United States Green Building Council and measures the environmental initiatives implemented both in design and construction. Recycling waste, improving air quality, reducing water consumption, and increasing energy efficiency beyond code are just a few of the strategies by which Tamarac has attained certification.
